We received a considerable response to last issue’s “A Day at a Senior Center.” Many readers wanted to know which center we highlighted, and where they could find a senior center near them.
We purposely did not identify the center where “Sadie” went, since we did not want to implicitly endorse one center over another. But here is a list of some of the senior centers in the Bay area. When choosing one, you might want to consider the religious affiliation, if any, how close it is to you, whether transportation is offered, and the kind of activities offered.
