Hundreds of community leaders, elected officials, clergy and community residents are set to gather on Sunday, April 18 at 5 p.m. for the annual Holocaust Commemoration Program at the Kings Bay YM-YWHA  at 3495 Nostrand Avenue (between Avenues U and V) in the marine Park area.

The Jewish Community Council of Kings Bay and the Kings Bay YM-YWHA, will  honor the memory of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust and express the commitment to Never Again. The program will include a moving candle lighting ceremony, a Kings Bay Y Jewish Sunday Program children’s performance, and guest speaker Rabbi Max Schryer.

Kings Bay Y teens will also honor Holocaust survivors by participating in a series of events, with the Holocaust Commemoration Program as the culminating event.
